Launching a Blog

For years I've told myself I wanted to create a blog, and for years I've made excuses: "I have nothing interesting to say," "No one will read it," "None of my ideas are going to be worthwhile." Today, though, I'm done giving in to the excuses. I'm done thinking I'm not creative enough, clever enough or what have you.

So, what will my blog be about? This is the most important part because this is the reason that you are (or aren't) going to keep coming back. My goal will be to write about different, timely topics in agriculture, my adventures (with work and on my own time), and some social media tips that I think might come in handy for those starting a new business or looking to improve their social media skills and knowledge.

How often should you expect updates? With any luck, I'll have one to two posts every week. I know in the world of blogging that sounds like a lot, and sometimes life is going to get in the way. I accept that. But, I think it's important to constantly have fresh content, otherwise why would you check back that often? I mean, other than if you're here for the Agricultural Communications jobs I have listed over on my Ag Resources page.

Now that it's been said, today I'm unshackling myself from everything that has been holding me back, and today I'm launching a blog, so poke around the website, visit the "Meet the Author" page, and follow my social media pages!
